Kit Williams, Wonder-Seeking, and Me

Secret treasure. Just the two words send a thrill through me. It seems like a somewhat universal condition to get excited by the idea of discovering a secret treasure, whether by accident or by solving a series of clues.

Following Faeries Into the Forest

Following Faeries Into the Forest

You can never tell how a day in the woods will go until you’re in the forest itself. There have been some mornings when I wake up resolved to go to the woods, and every step of my feet feels destined and easy.

Stick and Log: A Short Story

Stick and Log: A Short Story

No one ever asked him for his name. They would never inquire after his health or wonder how he was faring that day. Faeries, after all, had no patience for such human niceties, as ephemeral and meaningless as air. “How are you?” “Fine” as exchanged by two strangers had about as much substance as aether.

Welcome to my corner of the internet,

…Welcome to my corner of the internet, where on any given day you might find me sharing a miniature story inspired by a self-portrait from my forest wanderings, a sketch of a faerie maiden, pondered scribblings related to daily magic, and much more.

Come sit for a while and stay, stretch your legs, fins, cloven hooves, whatever type of faerie you  may be. Listen to stories, tell some of your own, learn about your hostess, and the mythmaker friends she shares here as well. Step into a painting, adorn your antlers with flowers and acorns for a theme party, and play at make believe: a time-honored tradition that we’re never too old to indulge in.

Celebrate wonder and imagination in all its many forms.

Let’s Chat Over Tea!

Sometimes its hard for friends to keep up with each other. These emails are our scheduled sit-downs for some thistle tea and violet lemon cake, to keep you in touch with current offerings and enticements at GraceNuth.com.

In addition to updates on new blog content available on the website, newsletters may also sometimes contain exclusive teasers for upcoming blog posts and extra content!

As further motivation to sign up for the email list, you will receive an exclusive link to a DIY video showing how to make the spring mossy witch hat seen in my website introduction video.
