Day Fifteen: A Merry and Magical Christmas Morning

We have arrived, friends and fey, family and folk. Welcome, dear ones, to Christmas morning. Thank you so much for joining me over the last few weeks in my celebration of the holiday season. (Please note: I am someone who celebrates the twelve days of Christmas, so by no means are the holidays over today) I hope my celebrations, creations, and sharing might have added a little touch of Christmas spirit to your day, and a bit of joy to your life in such a difficult year.

I’ll leave you today with the final “ensemble” of the Fifteen Days of Christmas Clothes. About a week ago, I went to the local arboretum to take some pictures in this outfit, and as I drove closer to the gates, the snow started falling, at first softly, and then in big fluffy flakes. Is this outfit my “best” ensemble of the holiday season? Maybe and maybe not. But all I can tell you is that as the snow started to fall and I ran around in my linen dress and pointy red hat, scarf and boots, my heart filled with joy and elation, and I felt the Christmas spirit down to my numb toes.

I like to think that feeling comes across in some of these photos, and in the video montage I created above.

So please, have a wonderful, cozy, and magical Christmas. And remember the wise words of Scrooge, one of my very favorite quotes ever:

”I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.” - Charles Dickens
