Hello there, lovely to make your acquaintance. I am Grace Nuth, eclectic gatherer and purveyor of magic and wonder. I live in a cozy central Ohio cottage filled with magical curiosities both collected and created, and when I’m not gardening or snuggling my two black cats, I’m going for blissfully long meanders through the countryside and forests, stopping every five feet to admire and photograph a circle of mushrooms, a log adorned in furry moss, or a tree with a door to Faerieland in its roots. And what I discover, I try to share with friends old and new, through as varying of mediums as a short story, a blog post, a photograph, a painting, a silhouette paper cut, a new flower crown, a celebratory party for friends, magically-themed, a new piece of décor for my home, or any number of additional creative outlets.

I am the co-author of the 2017 book The Faerie Handbook: An Enchanting Compendium of Literature, Lore, Art, Recipes, and Projects, published by Harper Design. I was also the Senior Editor of Enchanted Living Magazine for eight years, and have written over 80 articles, poems, and pieces of fiction for the magazine.

In addition to my own explorations and creations, I also find great joy in sharing the work of others, creative artists of all ilks who have tapped into the world of fairy tales, the Faerie realms, or just simply the beauty of the everyday that surrounds us all. I look forward to sharing interviews and interactions with such people here as well.

Above all else, I find it most important to foster a sense of wonder in daily life, to open myself up to the sorts of magic that can belong to us all. Whether I’m drawing, writing, blogging, or wandering the woods, this same thread weaves throughout all of what I will share here. And hopefully pass on to you.
