Last September there were Froudian creatures mingling with the attendees at a new Labyrinth event at West Wycombe Park in Buckinghamshire, England. Guests were able to interact with life-size three-dimensional recreations of some of their favorite characters and props from the film brought shockingly realistically to life. Who made these incredible pieces? many asked. How did they come here?

On August 21st, 2017, there was a total solar eclipse that traveled across the United States from the southeast to the northwest. Even those who were nowhere near the path of totality were awed to see the world turn gray and the shadow of the moon slightly crescent the sun.

Another thing that happened at the Froud Faerie Weekend a month ago was…I got my contributor copy of FAE Magazine. I have a new column in there about faerie faith and folklore, and this was the first one.

I’m so very excited to say that Saoirse and Mierla were not the only new fey beings who joined my household as a result of my March trip to England.
